Yes, I was reading about that yesterday. Benjamin Franklin was quoted as saying that, paraphrasing, when the people through the US government’s actions were no longer allowed to have control of their money, deflation set in quickly.
There are certain forces at work, it would seem, to keep us down.

I hate the debt-based monetary system we have right now. It’s exactly what made our forefather’s go to revolution in the first place.
